GenX Adulting Podcast

Creators & Podcasters

The GenXers who built an audience, a podcast, or a brand, often reinventing themselves in midlife.

A striking number of the show's guests did not just adapt to the internet, they built a living on it. GenXers who grew up analog now run TikTok accounts, podcasts, comedy pages, and personal brands, many of them starting over in midlife.

MJ Eldridge (MJ aka Mommie) and Kelly Manno built big social followings. Nick Harrison and John Kotrides turned to content creation during the pandemic. Gina Scott Williams (GenX Gina) uses humor and storytelling to connect. Others host their own shows: Julie Golden's Big D Dating Show, Vanessa Grigoriadis's So Your Parents Are Old, and the You Keep Me Sane podcast from Julie Fahy and Aileen Harvey.

It is a running portrait of reinvention: finding your voice, building an audience, and making something of your own after 40.
